Now that the crew has somewhere to sit, it’s time to look at the controls.
I have a ton of reference photos, so I went to work on scratch building the front console to match.
I started with the control yokes. I don’t know if these were from some existing design or created for the movie. They’re a pain to scratch build.

Here they are with the beginnings of the console.

Then the center console that holds it all together.

And getting the back wall mapped out.

And together with the front seats.

Here are the top and bottom fixed together.

And now in the cockpit with lots of bits and greeblies glued on.

And here is the last photo I have of the cockpit taken from back in the day. The front side walls are decorated and fitted. The bit square part in the little viewscreen is to be used as a handle I can break off after painting since that will have a hole drilled out for a light.
