Collecting the parts for R2.

It’s looking like Fred Sanford’s front yard in here. I have boxes and anti-static bags of parts waiting for other parts to come in. Then I can start to work on getting all these bits and pieces to talk to each other.

So far I have assembled three of the MarcDuino boards. I have three because the site that makes the boards only sells them in threes, so I got the components for that many. I see no down side to having a spare board I can load up as the Master or Slave. I considered using it to power the body doors, but that will likely be Arduino Minis. Since I plan to use the frame style created by Kevin Holme, I’ll need boards that are localized to the front and back.

I have one PS3 Move controller, a couple of Arduino Mega ADK boards, and a few other Uno and Mega boards to work with. I think I’m going to end up with probably a half dozen Arduinos in the head alone. It should make for a great presentation when the dome is lifted off.
