Now is the cockpit interior. I love the sculpting of the interior of this kit. I started with the wall color and then just added more and more layers. I tried to use a green for the screens that was close to an ’80s CRT monitor.

Now, some may look at these and be pretty happy. The thing that I see though is “This is Star Wars. These are too clean!” So in comes the StarShip Filth oil paint.
Here is the front panel before the oil paint has been wiped off.

This is an Imperial vehicle, so I can imagine that they’re cleaned pretty regularly between deployments. In this instance, the gunk wash just gives a lot more shadow depth and tones down the brightness of the walls.
